Nobody comes from zero. I left Lithuania at sixteen, but I wasn't starting from nothing, I was walking into family, into a country still learning who I was going to become in it. Since then I've rebuilt three times. Layoffs. A divorce. An empty nest. And now menopause. Some treat it like an ending. I treat it like another rebuild, and I've done enough of them to know I'll figure this one out too.
